Syncrolites at Super Bowl XLV Controlled with W-DMX

ARLINGTON, TX – Syncrolite fixtures used for lighting effects seen near the exterior entrances to Cowboys Stadium during Super Bowl XLV were controlled with technology from Wireless Solution Sweden AB. The visitor count onsite numbered 103,219, and close to 111 million more watched the event on TV. Syncrolite was contracted by Sports Graphics to light the NFL Super Bowl graphics that were attached to the outside of the Stadium.  LD Dall Brown incorporated the four stadium support trusses for the stadium, the largest domed stadium in the world, for his design.

The east end of the stadium was colored in blue and the west end was colored in red.  Brown used three Syncrolite SLX 7Ks, each with W-DMX OEM-installed, as truss warmers. He also used a combination of SXLs and Syncrolite’s new ArenaColors for the project.

“W-DMX is no stranger to architectural installations, but this one has a special significance,” noted Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution. “We were proud to be a part and proud to have Syncrolite as an OEM partner.”
