Strong Lighting and its production partners ELS and ArcLight Efx came together to create one of the largest Xenon searchlight events ever witnessed. The occasion was the running of the 30th annual LA Marathon where race sponsor ASICS used 124 spotlights beams to mark the race course.

The entire display stretched 26.2 miles from Dodger Stadium to the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica Pier. A massive mobile force of flatbed truck mounted lights and towed generators fanned out onto the LA streets. The lights were positioned at the start and finish line and each and each mile in between along the marathon race course.

Seen by millions and an overnight social media sensation the #LightsOnLA presentation may have been the most viewed lighting event in history. All made possible by Strong Lighting.
